Stampede for Stroke

On Saturday October 28 Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Director Dr. Williams and Mo got the chance to meet Dawn Harper Nelson, American track and field athlete in the 100-meter hurdles, at the Stampede for Stroke hosted by the ABC Brigade in St. Louis to raise awareness and funds to support stroke patients and their families. Harper Nelson won gold in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and silver in the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The ABC Brigade supports stroke prevention, education and improved quality of life for stroke survivors in the St. Louis area.
